Preventive medicine is the best defense against health issues down the road.
The mission of Mary’s Kitty Korner is to provide a safe refuge for stray, abused, neglected and owner-surrendered cats & kittens. We also educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering. In addition, our organization works to aid in finding these cats carefully screened permanent, safe & loving homes where they will live as family members. We promote the involvement of cat owners in the welfare of their animals’ care. This is a very important part of our organization.
Due to the “Stay Safe, Stay Home” executive order by Governor Lamont, Mary’s Kitty Korner has made the difficult decision to move most of the cats in our care to foster homes. We are TEMPORARILY suspending adoptions so our kitties can get acclimated to their new surroundings and keep everyone safe.
Our #1 priority is and always will be our Cats, Volunteers and Adopters. We will keep all of you posted as things change. Our website is still active and will remain active so if you have questions about any of the cats listed, please feel free to reach out either by phone, email or Facebook private message.
We are looking forward to the day, hopefully in the near future, when we can move every cat who is in foster back into the shelter and we can be up and running as usual. Our utmost wish is that you all stay safe and healthy!!
